About the Event
We're thrilled to invite you to our first Dreambox Collective concert of 2021!! A Saturday afternoon of music, art, and learning, in partnership with the Lillian Howell Project; a young women’s refuge.
"A Space of One’s Own" is a creative exploration of our relationship to home, and what it means to build a safer, more supportive environment in our own lives, as well as for others around us. Our Dreambox members were absolutely astounded by the work the Lillian’s do in the education, care and support they provide to young women in Sydney, and are extremely grateful to have had the chance to visit them and learn about their work in depth.
Join us for an eye-opening afternoon of musical and artistic responses to this theme, featuring guest speaker Vivian Stavis (General Manager of Lillian’s), and the premiere of new works by Alice Chance, Chloe Chung, Katarina Grobler, Deepka Ratra, and Sandra Rose Brand.
The cost of your ticket ($35/$25) will go towards supporting the Lillian Howell Project and ensuring Dreambox Collective can continue presenting concerts into the future.
